The City of Nedlands is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Coordinator Procurement and Contracts to join our dynamic Financial Services team.

About the role
Reporting to the Manager Financial Services, the Coordinator Procurement and Contracts will lead and oversee the Procurement and contract management activities across the City, ensuring probity and good governance standards are upheld.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide expert advice and guidance on procurement probity, processes, and contract management.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Oversee the compliant preparation of RFT, RFQ and EOI documentation.
- Manage the administration of TenderLink, maintain the City’s tender register, and oversee the receipt and opening of tenders.
About the successful candidate
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a comprehensive understanding of contract and tender management, and a proactive problem-solving approach.
Other requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Contract Law, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in a similar role, preferably in a Local Government setting.
- Sound knowledge of and ability to interpret relevant regulations and Acts.
- Proficiency in the use of Conditions of Contract and their subsequent amendments.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills.
- Well-developed supervisory abilities.
- Current “C” class Drivers Licence.
- Current National Police Certificate.
What we offer
This permanent, full-time position offers a cash salary range of $107,625 - $125,060 per annum (subject to annual review), dependent on skills and experience, plus superannuation.
