AddressJP Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator for a permanent position based in Hazelmere. You will be in a modern and clean manufacturing facility. This outstanding opportunity is with a multinational company that manufactures a leading brand of steel water storage products.
The purpose of this role is to perform an array of functions which support the overall running of the warehouse. Your main tasks will consist of:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials
- Picking and filling orders, packing and shipping orders; and/or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse
- Coordinating pick-ups and deliveries by using a booking system on the computer
- Unloading trucks and containers manually or by Forklift
- Managing the inventory – keeping count of stock and checking products in/out on the computer
- Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards.
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
- Organising the warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.
The working hours are 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Thursday, and 6:00am to 12:30pm on Fridays - early knock off on Fridays!
This position is paying $35.00/hr plus penalties for overtime.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills or ability:
- Fit and able to do heavy lifting when required
- Experience working in a similar role in a warehouse
- Able to communicate effectively and work within a team
- Able to pass a drug & alcohol screening and pre-employment medical
- Forklift license is essential for this role
- You must be reliable and able to get to Hazelmere for a 6am start
