The Warehouse Leading Hand is a critical part of day-to-day operations at Step Global.
To manage the order fulfilment process so that it meets all company performance goals.
- Minimising stock losses
- Zero customer order fulfilment errors
- Ensure accurate receipt of goods, including checking and verifying against orders
- Management of inventory storage to ensure efficient and accurate records
- Reduction in slow moving stock
- Ensuring in full and on time processing of customers orders
- Accurate and Timely Recording of all stock movements
- Inform customers with accurate ETA’s, and provide regular updates
- Monitoring of supply chain to ensure all order meet DIFOT requirements
- Provide customers with tracking details of orders
- Ensuring accurate recording of identifying numbers (serial numbers, SIM numbers, etc.)
- Minimal scrap and rework
This position services the organisation by the day-to-day running of order fulfilment processing. The role is accountable to both the Operations Manager, and directly to the customers.
The role will regularly be in communication with the customers to keep them informed about the progress of their purchase orders, as well as communication with the suppliers to ensure delivery of orders on time.
Will work regularly with the Admin staff, sales staff and production staff. May be required to assist service officer.
