Warehouse Manager

Your new company

This Australian family-owned business that has been manufacturing food and beverage products for over five generations in Queensland are now looking to take on a Warehouse Manager in Carole Park to lead their warehouse team.

Your new role

You will drive a new culture and take inventory management to a new level. This will include establishing the new distribution site as well as:

• Lead the warehouse team in transitioning from paper-based picking to a digitised and streamlined way of working
  
• Manage a team of 5 forklift operators and store operators across 2 warehouses.
  
• Managing all stock movements and reconciliation of all finished goods.
  
• Managing cycle counting and investigation of variances in line with the companies' expectations.
  
• Develop your team, including succession planning and performance management.
  
• Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement continuous improvement activities as required.
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this position, you will require:

• Experience in a warehousing/distribution environment in a management level for minimum of 5 years
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  
• The ability to mentor, develop and lead a high-performing team
  
• Experience with high reach and double deep forklift operations
  
• Experience with Pronto and MRP systems (preferred)
  
• Forklift licence (preferred)
  
• Highly organised, analytical, and decision-making skills
