- Position is located at our HQ in Burleigh Heads, QLD, Australia.
- Lack of Color has been operating for over 10 years and is well established as the globe’s premier e-commerce brand in the hat market. We are Headquartered in a stylish Burleigh Heads office and have a growing number of distribution points around the globe where we service both direct to consumer and wholesale channels.
Duties & responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, and shipping of goods
- Coordinate with head office to ensure timely order fulfilment
- Supervise and train warehouse staff ensuring adherence to safety protocols and operational procedures
- Maintain inventory management systems, tracking stock levels through regular stocktakes
- Organise warehouse layout and storage systems to optimise space and efficiency
- Maintain a tidy work environment, adhering to sanitation and safety standards
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective action as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement new policies and procedures
- Ensure all hazards are reported and dealt with swiftly and safely
Experience & attributes:
- Extensive experience in warehouse management
- Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate a team
- Forklift and Equipment trained
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and inventory control software
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent time management skills and keen attention to detail
- Be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
- A hands-on approach, performing all tasks required to get the job done
- An understanding of Cin7, Ship station and Shopify will be viewed favourably.
