Qualifications & experience
- Drivers Licence (necessary). Forklift Licence (necessary). MYOB experience (handy but not necessary). Email fluency (necessary). Microsoft word basics (necessary). Microsoft excel basics (necessary). Strong and relatively fit (necessary). Numeracy and literacy skills high level (necessary).
- Fastener and/or manufacturing experience (not necessary but definitely a bonus). Forging knowledge and/or metallurgy (a bonus). Purchasing experience ( a bonus). Sales experience (a bonus). CAD drawing experience (a bonus). Phone and general people skills (necessary).
Tasks & responsibilities
- Driving for pick-ups and deliveries (if and when necessary). Loading and unloading with electric sit down forklift and electric reach forklift, container work too. Sending and receiving emails, Packing, marking and shipping products. Goods receipting, inspecting, testing, sorting and storing stock.
- Arranging Test Certification for customers when needed. Ensuring that we comply with all of our OH& S and Quality System requirements. Purchasing of materials. Answering phones, taking messages, dealing with customers, passing on information.
- Work hours on site required are from 6.30am till 4.30pm Monday to Friday and you will be required to open and close the factory and gates when you are first there and last to leave. You will have a morning tea and a lunch break and can have an afternoon break if needed.
