Due to continued success and growth, our valued client who are a market leading ASX 200 listed business, are expanding their warehousing capacities with a brand-new greenfield site in Truganina.
They are seeking an ambitious Warehouse Manager to join their supply chain team.
The successful applicant will take charge of the 3PL greenfield site, build and manage their own warehousing team, implement best practice policies and procedures (with full support and training from the organisation) and have the opportunity to directly influence a culture of safety, best practices and positivity.
This is a hands-on role where your contributions will be highly visible across the organisation.
You will need to have the ability to understand customer's needs and deliver superior customer service, as well as being able to work cross-functionally and autonomously.
Building and managing internal relationships is key, ensuring the goals of the broader business are maintained.
Other requirements for the position include:
- Previous warehousing management experience – ideally 3PL or FMCG
- A current forklift operator's licence (LF/LO)
- Formal Qualifications in Warehousing, Supply Chain or Logistics
- Experience in Lean and 6S warehousing and strong commitment to safety in the workplace
- Knowledge of material handling systems
- Experience in staff management
