About the role
Based in our Head office in Essendon Fields, an excellent career opportunity exists for an experienced Warehouse Managerwho has a strong desire to contribute and participate in the exciting opportunities arising within a dynamic, technology business with growth and expansion plans.
Working collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders, this position is responsible for the day-to-day movements of goods in the warehouse, from goods receiving, material issue to production, as well as shipping of finished goods and other import/export shipping activities.
Some of the key responsibilities include:
- Transacting of inbound and outbound goods in the ERP system
- Verification of goods received against purchase orders
- Inventory control and accuracy
- Providing logistical support for outbound goods and assist with packaging, when needed

Skills and experience
Experience
- Must be an Australian Citizen or have Permanent Residency.
- 5+ years experience in warehouse management
- 5+ years experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with international shipping, customs requirements and documentation
- Licensed to operate a forklift
Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to maintain excellent relationships with a range of key stakeholders.
- Good organisational skills with an ability to plan and prioritise competing work requirements and work towards tight deadlines.
- Adaptable and able to work autonomously and in dynamic, fast paced team environment.
- Proactive and reactive problem solving skills with an ability to “think outside the box”
Bonus Points for the Following:
- Experience using the M1 ERP system.
- Ability to read basic technical manufacturing drawings and specifications.
- Experience with managing a KanBan system for non-stock items
- Experience with establishing bar code enabled inventory management systems.
