We specialize in a full range of services including Container unpack/pack, Full-service empty Container Park, and Project Logistics.
The Role:
As our business expands, we are seeking a dynamic Warehouse Manager to join our team. Working directly with and supporting the Operations Manager you will act as the first point of contact for warehouse operations to ensure deadlines are met for import and export bookings as well as the day-to-day operations of our L-Store warehouse complex.
As part of this role you will be exposed to a range of operational and warehousing requirements, including dangerous goods, quarantine freight and bonded cargo. Those who don’t have previous experience in these areas will receive training and undertake the relevant accreditation process, which is a great opportunity to expand your skill and experience base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to deadlines.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and traceability, optimizing stock management systems.
- Lead and participate in regular stock takes and inspections.
- Uphold a safety-first culture, demonstrating safety leadership at all times.
- Provide exceptional service delivery to both internal and external customers.
- Handle dangerous goods, quarantine freight, and bonded cargo with adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three (3) years of leadership experience in warehouse operations.
- Current forklift license (LF) with experience in maneuvering tight spaces.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an engaging leadership style.
- Results-driven with a passion for continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong observation skills.
