Warehouse Manager

If you're an experienced Warehouse Manager and looking for a Job - End your search today!!!Our client produces world leading brands in the FMCG Industry and are currently looking for an experienced Warehouse Manager.The position of Warehouse Manager is responsible for liaising with internal and external stakeholders. Liaise with Scheduling team regarding upcoming production and storage requirements and to optimise warehouse utilisation.Key responsibilities:

• Container loading experience, understanding of international and domestic freight.
• Supervise staff in a manner that optimises efficiency and minimises costs
• Monitor employee performance
• Ensure all warehouse employees are trained to the required level
• Ensure training matrix is kept up to date
• Manage daily and weekly loading requirements to meet customer despatch dates
• Liaison with transport providers regarding loading schedules
• Ensure product details are correct in SCALE
• Actively participate in cycle count results within the finished goods warehouse
• Communicating issues/problems and proposed solutions
• Ensure the accuracy of picking and packing for orders
• Ensure orders are loaded to protect product in transit
• Ensuring safe forklift operations are adhered to
• Compliance with all company policies, procedures, rules and regulations

• Demonstrated organisational and planning skills including use of computerised planning systems
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to multitask and handle numerous situations at once
• Sound understanding of warehouse operations
• Demonstrated supervisory skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• High level of literacy and numeracy
• Excellent communication & organisational skills
• Demonstrated understanding of HACCP, food safety, quality assurance and safety systems

Essential Qualifications:

• Drivers licence
• Fork Lift licence
• Formal qualifications relating to Warehouse, Logistics & Supply Chain
• Current Certificate IV TAE40122
• Experience with SCALE WMS (desirable)
• Truck licence (desirable)

Successful applicants must have recent supervisory experience, their own transport and be willing to complete a pre-employment physical assessment including drug and alcohol testing.All applicants must have the right to work full time in Australia.
