Searching for a Warehouse Manager experienced in multi-site management and who can implement positive change!
Your new company
This Australian family-owned business that has been manufacturing food and beverage products for over five generations in Queensland are now looking to take on a Warehouse Manager in Carole Park to lead their warehouse team.
Your new role
You will drive a new culture and take inventory management to a new level. This will include establishing the new distribution site as well as:
- Lead the warehouse team in transitioning from paper-based picking to a digitised and streamlined way of working
- Manage a team of 5 forklift operators and store operators across 2 warehouses.
- Managing all stock movements and reconciliation of all finished goods.
- Managing cycle counting and investigation of variances in line with the companies’ expectations.
- Develop your team, including succession planning and performance management.
- Conduct root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement continuous improvement activities as required.
To be successful in this position, you will require:
- Experience in a warehousing/distribution environment in a management level for minimum of 5 years
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- The ability to mentor, develop and lead a high-performing team
- Experience with high reach and double deep forklift operations
- Experience with Pronto and MRP systems (preferred)
- Forklift licence (preferred)
- Highly organised, analytical, and decision-making skills
