ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Regional Warehouse Operations Manager, you will enjoy working hands-on in the warehouse while being responsible for the supervision of 1 dedicated staff member and management of the warehouse with a focus on customer service and time management ensuring delivery deadlines are met and all warehouse activities and safety aspects are adhered to.
A key requirement is to continue creating a positive environment, supervising the warehouse, whilst enjoying working hands in the role.
Flexible working the hours starting: 6.30am to 2.51pm or 7.00am to 3.30pm.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3 years’ experience within a leadership role,
- RF Scanning experience,
- Able to work autonomously,
- Proven ability to lead, direct staff,
- Experience and knowledge in inventory, warehousing and distribution,
- Possess a current Forklift licence,
- Sound working knowledge of WH&S requirements,
- Experience in operational systems such as WMS,
- Excellent organisation, time-management skills,
- Ability to meet deadlines, work well under pressure,
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal,
- Ability to problem solve, make sound decisions,
- Certificate III Warehousing Operations highly regarded.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Supervising 1 warehouse staff member, ensuring all activities are performed in compliance with the requirement of Company codes and standards,
- Oversee and coordinate all incoming and outgoing stock, liaising with shipping and transport companies,
- Inventory management, monthly stocktakes,
- Organise, coordinate and direct warehouse activities ensuring work is completed on-time and within budget,
- Completion of reports,
- Maintain and implement workplace health and safety procedures,
- Ensure hazards are identified, risk assessed and control measures are planned and implemented,
- Coordinate monthly responsibilities of Safety & Inventory Team,
- Maintain machinery, ensuring equipment pre-starts and services are undertaken,
- Organise all incoming and outgoing transport,
- Improve warehouse work processes through strategic planning,
- Monitor the performance of plant, labour and subcontractors.
