We are seeking a passionate Warehouse Operator to join the team with Australia's largest, family-owned Transport and Warehouse distributor. In this role, you will manage the supervising of the Transport and Warehouse Departments.
As the Warehouse Operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our fleet and Linehaul. Your primary focus will be on streamlining processes, managing Chain of Responsibility (CoR) You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of our transportation and Warehouse operations, enhancing efficiency, and maintaining our commitment to exceptional customer service and safety.
Based in Carole Park, QLD
Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have experience with management of Logistics, Contractors and Franchise systems. WHS & transport of Dangerous Goods.
- A solid knowledge of HACCP and OH&S regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all deliveries are made in correct manner and time frame – exceeding DIFOT expectations of all customer accounts.
- Ensure that all activities relate to the Company complies with the relevant Acts and that all legal obligations and ethical standards are complied with.
- Organise Container cartage for clients through the appropriate container cartage company.
- Manage, plan, and monitor Freight Assist dock appointments on-site.
- Comply and implement container safety protocols.
- To have a solid knowledge of OH&S regulations in regards to driving breaks, manual handling and rehabilitation.
- Communicate with Site Operations Manager on all PUD, Linehaul and Warehousing matters.
- Ensure that pallets in storage on chep or loscam have been captured and charged weekly.
- Ensure that pallets (chep/loscam) are recovered upon dispatch from the warehouse.
Key Competencies, Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
