About the role
As a key member of the Supply team this role is fundamental in ensuring optimum fulfilment center performance.
A typical day in this role involves
- Adhering to Health & Safety practices and ensuring that I operate a safe working environment for L&H
- Accurately picking, packing and dispatching of all customer & branch orders
- Receiving stock and ensuring its checked against delivery advice, receipted and stored correctly
- Accurately moving inventory using available technology
- Completing inventory, cyclic counts and participating in stocktakes
- Releasing and invoicing orders
- Ensuring that the warehouse housekeeping is maintained at the highest possible standards
- Ensuring cable cutting (only if trained) is accurate and there is minimal wastage of cable.
How can I tell if this is for me?
- A strong eye for detail
- Experience in a warehouse
- Forklift Licence with high reach experience
- You will be organised, with a can-do attitude
- You have the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Product knowledge and experience in the electrical, industrial or safety markets is desirable, but not essential
