Warehouse Operators

Smith & Co Recruitment are currently seeking Warehouse Operators for our client an Australian leading building and construction supplies company with warehouses in both Southport and Burleigh. 

Position Details: 

• Monday to Friday
• 8am to 4pm or 7am to 3pm 
• Up $32.00 per hour 
• Burleigh Position: Casual full-time with view to permanency at 6 months 
• Southport Position: Permanent full-time 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Picking orders
• Dispatching orders 
• Manual handling 
• Loading and unloading trucks (with Forklift and manually) 
• Forklift driving 
• Inventory 
• General yard duties (indoors and outdoors)
• General warehouse and housekeeping duties 

Requirements: 

• Current Drivers Licence and reliable transport
• Current Forklift Licence
• Previous experience as a Storemen, Pick Packer or Forklift Driver 
• Ability to lift up to 20kg
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Basic Literacy and numeracy 
• 2 contactable work references.
