A Global Metal supplier based in Dandeniong South is looking to employ 2 x Warehouse storeman in temp to perm roles
Your new role
- General Warehouse duties including loading/unloading trucks, restock racking, order picking, housekeeping etc.
- Crane Operation of a two hoist 6.4 tonne crane. - No previous experience required with training and internal competency assessment to be provided.
- Forklift work for movement of material and loading or unloading of vehicles. - Licence will be required with a minimum 3 years of fork experience.
- Operation of manufacturing equipment to cut material. - Training and competency assessment will be provided.
- Administrative duties such as E-Learning, Pay Roll. Emails and other company correspondence
- Initially the hours of the successful candidates would be from 8.00am until 4.00pm while training is occurring.
- Once deemed competent, hours will vary according to business requirements and so they may start at 6.00am, 8.00am or 10.00am while finishing at 2.00pm, 4.00pm or 6.00pm respectively.
- Overtime during the week is kept to a minimum but occasionally staff will be required to work a small amount of OT Monday to Friday.
- Overtime on the weekend is completed on a rotational basis with other employees once deemed competent.
What you'll need to succeed
- LF Forklift Licence and min 3 years experience driving high reach/ counter balance
- Manual Handling experience
- Working with metal
- Able to work with cutting equipment
- PC skills and able to learn new systems
- Use of over head cranes or able to learn
What you'll get in return
- $35 per hour + super
