Alstom are seeking two experienced Warehouse Store person to be in charge of incoming and outgoing materials, with a diverse range of duties.
This role reports directly to the Logistics & Warehouse Manager and will be based in Bellevue and is either for 12months fixed term (therefore could consider an unrestricted working visa) or ongoing (looking for permanent, secure work!)
Key Responsibilities include:
- Receiving and processing incoming stock and materials.
- Picking and filling orders from stock.
- Kitting, Packing and shipping orders.
- Manage all impaired or damaged items.
- Operate adequate merchandise management tools, including forklift.
- Operate and maintain preventative warehouse vehicles and equipment.
- Perform inventory cycle counts & audits.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager in daily tasks.
Skills, Experience and Licences required include:
- Experience working in a Warehouse, ideally within a maintenance environment.
- Communicating effectively with external suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders.
- A valid Driver's Licence is essential, and a Forklift licence is desirable.
- Experience with SAP or similar material ERP systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
- Keeping a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation.
