The Role

Full time role with immediate start available!

• Inventory Management: Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, including receiving, storing, and issuing materials or products.
• Stock Control: Monitoring stock levels to ensure optimal levels are maintained without excess or shortage, and conducting regular stock checks or audits.
• Order Processing: Processing incoming and outgoing orders, picking and packing items, and preparing them for shipment or delivery.
• Receiving and Inspection: Receiving deliveries of materials or products, inspecting them for quality and quantity, and reporting any discrepancies or issues.
• Storage and Organisation: Ensuring that materials or products are stored safely and appropriately, following storage guidelines and procedures.
• Handling and Transport: Using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks to move materials or products within the warehouse or manufacturing facility.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintaining accurate documentation and records related to inventory, orders, shipments, and any other relevant activities.
• Safety and Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines, including proper handling of hazardous materials, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Communication: Collaborating with other departments such as production, logistics, and procurement to coordinate activities and address any issues or concerns.
• Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements, efficiency enhancements, and cost savings within the storekeeping function.

• Hours are between 7am and 3.30pm (earlier starts required at times)

This role also would act as a backup to the delivery driver role. For the right candidate we would offer training and a truck licence (if you do not already have one).

Do you meet the following requirements?

• have an Australian LR (or higher) License -- preferred but not required
• work independently, but also have the ability to work together in a team
• be customer oriented and deliver great customer service
• have sound work ethics
• will and able to manually handle doors and windows
• be fit, heatlhy and able to lift 20kg+
• have a good work history
• have the right to work in Australia
