The position:
This newly created role is a for a Warehouse Supervisor, responsible for overseeing the warehouse operations and inventory management including dispatching, picking, packing and storing goods for transport of mining equipment and supplies to our tier one clients.
Duties for the role are:
- Getting orders ready for dispatch.
- Ensure all information is accurate, stored, and accessible.
- Ad hoc duties associated with supporting aftermarket and warehouse teams.
- To maintain a high level of coordination between internal staff, customers, and clients.
- Being a point of contact for all incoming goods from internal and external customers.
- Ensure efficient operation of the warehouse by coordinating deliveries and adhering to schedules and deadlines.
- Performing periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory and data integrity.
- Packaging, labelling, picking, boxing items.
- Receiving and storing orders.
- Operating equipment.
- Paperwork and admin tasks.

Skills and experience:
- Good sound knowledge of SAP is desirable.
- Forklift License essential.
- Ability to work to strict deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.
- Well-developed computer skills including data entry, Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Excellent telephone, written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
