We are currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor who is eager to support our mission and contribute to our pursuit of excellence.
About the Role:
We have an opening for a Warehouse Supervisor at our Biggera Waters store. We seek a proactive individual with a "Can-Do" attitude who is ready to roll up their sleeves and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
About You:
You possess outstanding communication skills and bring an enthusiastic, friendly demeanor to our team. As a reliable team player, you are always prepared to lend a hand wherever needed.
General Warehousing Responsibilities:
- Picking, preparing, and packing outgoing orders.
- Receiving and storing incoming goods.
- Handling stock inquiries.
- Managing inventory levels.
- Conducting equipment repairs.
- Cleaning rental equipment.
- Operating manual lifter (Forklift licence not required)
- Delivery driving when required.
- Delivery scheduling of customer orders
- Overseeing and administering delivery schedules for drivers
- Purchasing goods and monitoring arrivals and lead times
- Maintain inventory management systems, tracking stock levels through regular stocktakes
- Organise warehouse layout and storage systems to optimise space and efficiency
- Monitor and report on warehouse performance metrics and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective action as needed
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement new policies and procedures
- Overseeing OHS policies and procedures as it pertains to inventory, warehousing and logistics
Skills and Experience:.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution centre, preferably within an equipment health care or related setting.
- Intermediate comp
- Proficient in manual handling, with a focus on safety and care in handling products.
- Strong work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of meeting critical deadlines.
- The ability to attend to clients’ needs in a genuine and empathetic manner
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Flexibility, adaptability and innovative
- Police check or the ability to obtain one
