Warehouse Supervisor/ Cook And Fresh Backup Planner

Chandler Macleod are seeking an enthusiastic Warehouse Supervisor/ Cook and FreshBackup Planner, to join an innovative food manufacturing company, located in West Melbourne. The position of Warehouse Supervisor/ Cook and FreshBackup Planner primarily responsible for planning of production scheduling manufacturing and ordering of consumables, ingredients, and packaging at Steggles Foods.
The primary functions of this role, including but are not limited to
1) Objectives of the Role :-

• Scheduling in line with allergen compatibility and ingredients and packaging availability
• Check with production daily stock requirements
• Run daily production meeting
• Monitor and action stock receivables including UBD.

2) Workplace Health & Safety:- Support & maintain best practice WHS process, investigations and documentation in the bakery & across the broader business
3) Key Performance Tasks / Areas of Accountability: - Prompt and correct decisions regarding processing operations are made as and when requested by Managemen
Plan and manage daily/weekly/monthly production plan to ensure customer requirements are satisfactory.
Implement on the companies Quality and GMP program through support, procedures, implementation, and training program.
4 Continual Improvement Commitments:- The position identifies areas for improvement, participates in plant problem solving teams, and co-ordinates plant problem solving teams.
5. Staff Training:- Display a willingness to undertake training as required
6. Safety, Environmental, Quality, Chain of Responsibility (CoR), Compliance- • Assist the company to improve in the areas of Safety, Environmental, Quality and Compliance.

• Executing the Food Safety and Quality Culture procedure through day to day work in a safe manner and driving production of safe products that are fit for consumption in accordance with legislative, state food authorities, customer and Baiada specific requirements

Your required competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Experience)

• Knowledge of food processing industry, especially food safety /HACCP principles
• Recognition of the importance of following company procedures and policies
• Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to arrive at and implement long term preventative action

Salary on offer for this role is 80k- 85k + superannuation.
