We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at the Traralgon Warehouse, you will be responsible for the day to day running of the Warehouse operations, you will be reportable to the General Manager and Director of the Business.
The role will be responsible for the supervision of employees in the Warehouse as well as ensuring stock is picked and packed for the vehicles to be loaded for delivery, the Warehouse Supervisor will also be responsible for receipting and checking of inwards goods and ensuring the Warehouse runs efficiently and effectively whilst ensuring policies/procedures and best practice standards are met.
This is a full time Monday to Friday position.
The successful applicant will:
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including coordination of the warehouse team, receiving, storing and distribution of goods.
- Ensure the efficient, effective use of warehouse space, equipment, and resources with reduction in costs and improving efficiency at front of mind.
- Drive a safe culture, leading by example.
- Lead the team to achieve high performance, delivering efficient warehouse operations to ensure the customers’ needs are met.
- Identify key areas for improvement to the overall warehouse function, make recommendations to the Managers and execute improvement projects as directed.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable team member with the following skills & experience:
- Forklift Licence is essential.
- Proven experience within a Warehouse Management position.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing new processes to improve warehouse efficiency.
- Effective communication skills.
- Honest.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Suitable time management and the ability to work under pressure.
- Trustworthy.
- A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work, with an ability to lead by example.
- Fantastic work ethic, and ability to lead a team.
- HR Licence desirable.
