The Opportunity -
Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Warehouse Supervisorto join the Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program. In this role you will be part of the Supply Support team and lead, plan, organise, direct and control the activities of the warehouse function to ensure parts are handled, stored and delivered safely to required quality and regulatory standards to support the Program. You will oversee and co-ordinate daily supply activities, safety, purchasing, warehousing, distribution, stock control, inventory management and customer service in support of the Program.
This role is based at Swartz Barracks, Oakey.
As a Warehouse Supervisorwithin BDA you will;
- Be responsible for the efficient and effective management of supply support processes.
- Deliver against the Program strategic objectives.
- Manage performance and development of the supply support team.
- Deliver on commitments and plan to succeed.
- Implement continuous improvement strategies.
About you
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience in a supervisory role.
- CERT IV or higher in Warehouse and or Management (or comparable years of experience).
- Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in; supply support, warehouse and/or logistics roles and functions.
- Experience with computerised inventory management systems.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
- Ability to obtain and hold a Baseline security clearance.
Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
