YOUR OPPORTUNITY
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Mackay QLD. You will be responsible for managing and running the warehouse and production area to achieve operational excellence and continual improvement whilst delivering safety, service, and operational excellence.
Your key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Manage warehouse operations to achieve required KPIs in specific areas i.e. Safety, DIFOT, receipt lines.
Receive incoming goods, manage any discrepancies and accurately put away stock
Operate machinery to assist with the daily requirements of receiving, picking, packing and the dispatch of goods.
Responsible for the weekly execution of a stock cycle count and assist with stock-takes and other inventory initiatives.
Lead and manage performance of your team providing mentoring and training opportunities
Plan operations and secure the necessary resourcing with appropriate skill base
To be successful, you will have:
Previous Warehouse and Production experience is essential
A self-starter who is resilient, possesses strong people management and communication skills
Ability to lead and support a team to achieve both company and development goals
Forklift licence required
LO licence and Doggers or Riggers ticket preferred
NATA Accredited Mechanical Testing Operator preferred
Tertiary Education (desirable) Warehousing and Stock control or a related discipline (required)
