Are you an experienced Inventory Control or Warehouse Supervisor looking for a new challenge? We have the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a motivated and inspiring Store Team Leader to join our dedicated team.
As the Store Team Leader, you will be responsible for directing, monitoring, and supervising store personnel, ensuring efficient workload management, inventory location, warehousing, and inventory management. With over 5,000 Ski's to manage, your organizational skills will shine as you handle receiving, sorting, and dispatching goods within the store.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe working environment within the store
- Effectively manage storage room and warehouse for proper inventory and equipment storage
- Lead and motivate the team to foster positive communication and teamwork
- Utilize SAP system for stock control and data entry
- Ensure on-time deliveries of highly sensitive products to customers
- Conduct regular cycle counts and stock-takes, providing detailed reports and analysis
- Receive, sort, and place incoming goods on shelves
- Pick and pack incoming orders
- Safely unload and load containers/vehicles of goods
- Maintain security of stock, assets, and confidential documents
- Complete daily transactions in computer systems for accurate invoicing and stock records
- Develop and review stock procedures to optimize stock control
- Prioritize urgent orders
- Other duties as directed by Warehouse & Store Manager
Requirements:
- Driver's License
- Tertiary Qualifications (advantageous)
- 2-3 years' experience in Inventory Control or Warehouse Supervisor/Manager role
- Good memory for efficient store organization
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong leadership ability
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational ability
- Proficient in English communication
- Strong computer skills, including SAP
