The Role
We are looking for a Team Leader to supervise our warehouse. Ideally you will enjoy working in a small team, have strong multi-tasking skills and have proven experience leading a team.
At Tradies Workwear & Safety, no two days are the same – this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader looking for a new opportunity in a fast-paced and dynamic warehouse.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Plan and allocate all incoming and outgoing freight
- Manage supply chain
- Carry out stock checks
- Maintain records of orders, delivery dates, and invoices for audit purposes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant health and safety, procedures, and regulations.
- Prepare reports on purchasing activity and inventory levels.
- Identify and resolve any issues that may arise in the procurement process, such as delayed delivery, incorrect orders, or quality issues with materials received.
About You
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting
- Proven leadership experience;
- A great work ethic, combined with the ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines;
- Effective communication, problem solving skills and a continuous improvement approach;
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail; and
- An awareness of safe work practices and commitment to ensuring a safe workplace.
