Warehouse/Forklift Operator - The Good Grocer Iga Supermarkets

The Good Grocer is seeking enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse/Forklift Operators to join our team at the Canning Vale Warehouse.

The role will be responsible for undertaking general operational duties in the warehouse, receiving and distributing fresh produce and goods within the facility to support our supermarket operations.

Ideally, you will be an experienced and responsible individual with knowledge of industrial work practices and standards.

We have permanent and/or casual opportunites available. This is predominantly a Monday to Friday role with the occasional Saturday, working hours are 4am to 12pm.

Responsibilities:

• Unload materials and produce from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned areas
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage and/or shipment
• Identify damages and report quantity shortages
• Transport raw materials and produce
• Ensure machinery and vehicles are kept in working condition through maintenance inspections and determine any repairs that are required
• Keep records of inventory and activity logs
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industrial guidelines
• Maintain a safe and orderly workplace

Skills and requirements:

• Forklift License and experience is preferred
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment and workplaces
• Physically fit and able to perform the duties
