Our plant is fast-paced, therefore we are seeking an experienced, reliable and skilled operator to join our warehouse operations team. The main focus of the role is on forklift operations - picking orders, dispatch tasks and RF scanning.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory movement (in-house and dispatch)
- Preparation of orders for dispatch (picking and packing).
- Assist in general warehouse duties.
- Receivables (including checking goods inwards against paperwork)
The role includes:
- Transferring finished pallets and goods from our production area to warehouse, to trucks.
- Loading and unloading of trucks, van's, delivery vehicles.
- Moving, stacking, and staging of goods using a forklift.
- Following forklift safety requirements, including daily pre-start checks.
- Accurate and complete RF scanning and recording of relevant information.
- Maintaining a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
- Operating the forklift in a manner which promotes safety.
- Adherence to safety and quality assurance protocols, along with good manufacturing practices.
About you:
- Current LF forklift licence.
- Experience loading and unloading trucks.
- High attention to detail.
- Flexible and reliable person, with a great work ethic.
- Prepared to roll up your sleeves and deliver results.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
