Cascade (Australia) Pty Ltd is part of the global Cascade Corporation with our head office in Portland, Oregon, USA. In Australia, we have a significant operation which manufactures and supplies a broad range of forks, forklift attachments and accessories for the Materials Handling Market.
Currently, we have an opportunity for a Warehousing Clerk. This position will report to the Stores Supervisor and work within the Stores team.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Accepting delivery, unpacking, sorting or checking goods received for quality, type or size
- Maintaining up-to-date records of goods within the store, including part identification and part locations
- Distributing goods to authorised persons, and completing relevant documentation/records
We are looking for an individual with:
- Commitment to high safety standards
- Experience with computers: word processing, spread sheets, and inventory management software. MRP/ERP experience a benefit but not essential
- Understanding of a continuous improvement
- Initiative and sound problem solving skills
- Autonomous and independent worker
- Organised, diligent, and responsible
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with raw materials, supplies, chemicals, and products related to medical components, devices, and products
- Experience with, and commitment to, working in a QA controlled environment
- Self-motivated team player, with a high level of personal integrity
