The Opportunity
North West Alliance are seeking a Waste Coordinator to join our team based in Newman. The right candidate will coordinate site based waste management of waste resources, requirements (equipment, collection, schedules), and operations including transport, consolidation and disposal of waste products.
The ideal candidate will also focus on continuous improvement and innovation in the performance of work over the life of the contract with BHP. Building and maintaining a waste management plan to ensure servicing is transparent and agreed with key client focal points.

- Annual Leave
- Act as the conduit between the client (BHP) and North West Alliance for all waste management and general enquiries
- Provide technical advice for new, difficult or hazardous waste streams
- Collect data, report and achieve monthly KPIs associated with the contract
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, recycling initiatives, waste minimisation programs
- At least 2-3 years industry experience in waste / environmental services or relevant experience gained in a similar role
