The Role
This is a fast-paced role offering the candidate a great deal of variety that will challenge them to hone their existing skills as well as learn many new ones.
Playing a pivotal role in the ongoing success of our established organisation, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Sales Department. This role will report to the GM - Sales and Marketing Manager.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Manage incoming sales phone calls and email portals and distribute them to appropriate personnel
- Process sales orders effectively and efficiently
- Prepare sales quotations and present our offer in a professional and accurate manner
- Assist in the coordination and completion of tender documents
- Co-ordination and administration of the weekly sales meetings
- Maintain and update quotation templates as well as the administration of all sales related documents and procedures
- Provide administrative, coordination, and Sales Support to all team members in the Sales Department
- Use and administer Salesforce CRM system to support the Sales Department to ensure data is accurate and create various reports as required.
- Provide direct support to the General Manager - Sales and Marketing in preparing documents, reports and general administrative duties as required by the GM of Sales
- Assist with sales communications and marketing, such as posting on LinkedIn
- Manage the document library for all updates and prepare new procedures
- Take accurate meeting minutes and document them for distribution
- Provide phone backup for Reception
- Office based position (Monday to Friday) typically 8am to 4:30pm or 8:30am to 5:00pm
The Successful Applicant
As the successful applicant, you will possess:
- Minimum of 5 years of sales or customer service experience
- Excellent skills using Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
- Experience using Salesforce CRM preferred
- Sales support experience in a similar role within a technical industry
- Excellent organisational skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to form positive relationships in a team base culture
