The Opportunity
North West Alliance are seeking a Waste Coordinator (FIFO) based in Perth to travel to the Roy Hill mine site located 1.5 hours from Newman. The right candidate will coordinate site based waste management of waste resources, requirements (equipment, collection, schedules), and operations including transport, consolidation and disposal of waste products.
The ideal candidate will also focus on continuous improvement and innovation in the performance of work over the life of the contract with Roy Hill. Building and maintaining a waste management plan to ensure servicing is transparent and agreed with key client focal points.

What you'll be responsible for
- Act as the conduit between the client (Roy Hill) and North West Alliance for all waste management and general enquiries
- Provide technical advice for new, difficult or hazardous waste streams
- Landfill management
- Collect data and report KPIs associated with the contract
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, recycling initiatives, waste minimisation programs
What you'll need to be successful
- At least 2-3 years industry experience in waste / environmental services or relevant experience gained in a similar role
- Customer focused
- Problem solving skills
- Sound time management skills
- A demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
- Able to work in 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off roster (12 hours shifts)
