Form of work In this role, you will be responsible for waste Resource Recovery, waste collection and Waste transportation and disposal to ensure a safe, effective, and economical service for all of the City’s customers. Working an 8 days on/6 days off roster, this permanent full-time role is a great opportunity to work for local government in a supportive team that contributes to the environment and community. A snapshot of your new role: Machine sorting waste in the Transfer Station to recover items that can be diverted from disposal Operating front-end loaders, forklifts, tele-handlers and other plant and machinery, including minor maintenance and pre-starts White good collections, hook bin operations and Waste Transfers via walking floor semi-trailers Taking delivery of materials/consumables that are delivered to the facility, loading materials at the waste facility and managing stockpiles of waste Responding to and taking control of any incidents on site Who we’re looking for: ‘HC’ class driver’s licence with proven…
