Moree Plains Shire Council is seeking a highly motivated Waste Services Coordinator at the Waste Management Facility
- Permanent Full-Time – 38 hours per week
- Location - Moree
- Attractive Salary ranging from $1,333.95 up to $1,533.70 (PLUS superannuation) depending on qualifications and experience.
- 10% above award loading to compensate for seven (7) day-rotating roster system.

The Waste Services Coordinator will be required to supervise and assist in the coordination of operations within Council's Moree Waste Management Facility and nine (9) village landfills.
Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award 2023.
ABOUT YOUCouncil is looking for someone who has the following qualities, experience and/or qualifications:
- Relevant experience in the field of Waste Services or Environmental Services.
- Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing and maintaining team-based operations and work plans, ensuring all safety and environmental measures are in place.
- Ability to problem solve in relation to the position, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and work under conflicting time pressures without supervision.
- Experience coordinating, supervising and leading a cohesive and motivated team.
- General Construction and Induction card
- Current Class C Licence.
- Current Class MR Licence
- High Risk Licence – LF (Forklift)
- Validation of competency for Front End Loader/Backhoe (LB), Loader Skidsteer (LS) and Excavator (LE).
- Current First Aid Certificate
