Solutions Management Services are seeking an ‘experienced sales professional’ to join our team. You will be a key driver of securing New Business Growth, while Maintaining, Developing and Retaining our current waste business relationships. Your current or previous experience, and proven success within the waste industry is crucial.
Your responsibilities:
- Manage the production of high-quality proposals & tender responses for submission to potential and existing clients. Assist in business development opportunities with major municipal and contracted customers to develop new areas for revenue growth and business capability.
- Develop and drive new business (customer/revenue and profitability growth) and re-secure existing municipal contracts. Identify and maintain a sales pipeline of tender opportunities for new and existing municipal customers.
- Provide excellent customer service, build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Meet sales targets in accordance to business metrics.
- Track and analyse sales performance metrics, market trends, and customer feedback to enhance strategic decision-making and continuous improvement efforts.
- Ensure long term growth and profitability of the division by identifying and developing relationships with key clients and generating new business.
- Submit quotes and follow up on leads to close sales.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
Your Attributes for Success
- Proven experience within the Waste Industry is a necessity as we’ll look to see you hit the ground running.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The ability to clarify, resolve issues, find solutions, and be decisive.
- The ability to multi-task simultaneously, effectively prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and you’re driven to achieve your set targets.
- Experience with Tender Submissions and or Sales Presentations are also an advantage.
- Intermediate literacy in Google & or Microsoft Office Applications
- Valid Driver’s License (Unrestricted)
