About the Role
Due to Maitland City Council's ongoing digital transformation and to ensure continuity of business support we are seeking a vibrant and organised Support Officer to join our Waste Services team on a temporary 12-month basis. As Waste ServicesSupport Officer, you will deliver effective and efficient customer experience to range of stakeholders. Working within a fast-paced environment, this role will take ownership of the administrative function that assists the team to deliver waste management services that meet the objectives of Council's Community Strategic Plan. Additionally, you will:
· support data integrity, integration and implementation requirements in transitioning to new technology platforms and identify process efficiencies.
· be responsible for actioning waste related enquiries including requests for new services, missed services and bin repairs.
· liaise with residents regarding servicing issues and Council's new bulky waste collection service.
· undertake general administration duties of the Waste Services team such as file maintenance and record keeping.
About You
We are seeking a highly organised, resourceful administrator that has a commitment to making things easier for all stakeholders. To be successful in this role you will possess a Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent, coupled with demonstrated experience providing administrative support in a fast paced, multi-disciplinary environment. You will have a positive and vibrant attitude towards joining a Council that is re-shaping the way we deliver customer service and experiences.

Benefits
This is a full-time, temporary opportunity, working 35 hours per week with a salary ranging from $62,780 up to $69,686 per year based on demonstrated competencies + 11% superannuation. You will have access to a number of great benefits including:
