ABOUT THE ROLE
Position
We are looking for an energetic and suitably trade qualified individual to join our Water and Wastewater team. Reporting to the Supervisor Wastewater, this position will assist in the repair, maintenance and cleaning of wastewater pump stations and water supply assets and infrastructure.
To be successful you will bring

Relevant trade qualification as a mechanical fitter.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the operations, maintenance and repair of water and wastewater pumps and equipment and infrastructure including treatment of domestic and industrial wastes.
Proven experience implementing program of works for pump station and mechanical asset maintenance.
Demonstrated experience in supervision of staff and contractors, including the ability to manage programmed tasks while reacting to operational needs.
Demonstrated experience in and ability to undertake physical labouring duties.
The rewards
An annual salary range of $59,100 to $67,800 (plus 10.5% superannuation) dependent upon skills, experience and qualifications.
