AddressThis is a field work role requiring travel between multiple Newman site locations. A vehicle is provided while on site.
Reporting to the Water Operations Supervisor, your duties will include:
- Completing routine drinking, raw and wasteWater Treatment plant inspections including recording of operational parameters
- Reporting of faults and facilitating maintenance activities and escalate issues as required to ensure necessary actions to manage the risk to quality and supply
- Complete water testing and data collection in accordance with operational procedures.
- Perform inspections on bore fields and water infrastructure.
- Work both autonomously in remote areas and with other team members.
Skills
- At least 3 years industry experience in Drinking Water and Waste Water treatment processes including reverse osmosis, electrolysis and chlorine gas disinfection.
- Have a valid Australian "C class" driver's license.
- Positive attitude with a strong aptitude for learning
- Strong communication skills to assist with reporting and escalation.
- The ability to work autonomously or in a team
