- 38 hours per week, permanent position, 3 month probation,
- To apply primary welding skills in TIG, Mig and Electrode,
- Weld preparation not limited to cutting, grinding & fitting etc,
- Preparation of materials as per drawings,
- Plate rolling including tacking in position,
- Drilling & Machining as required,
- Pressing & folding of material,
- Programming & Operating of the WaterJet Cutter,
- Availabilty to work on site (Australia wide) as required.
- Current Cert in Welding &/or Boiler Making (Cert 3 or 4),
- Diploma in Advanced Trade - Engineering,
- Applicant must hold a current drivers licence, White Card, Police Check & Confined Space Permit,
- Ability to read & interpret design drawings,
- Experience in the use of a Press Brake,
- Experience in the use of a WaterJet Cutter,
- Experience in the use of a Manual Lathe,
- Experience in the use of a Manual Mill,
- Experience in the use of a Radial Drill,
- Experience in the use of a Drill,
- Experience in the use of a Band Saw,
- Strong attention to detail,
- Ability to work independently & stick to a deadline,
- Ability to work after-hours when required.
