We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team. As a welder, you will be responsible for performing welding and fabrication tasks based on project requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG) based on project specifications and materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to determine the requirements and methods for fabrication.
- Prepare materials by cleaning, cutting, fitting, and welding components.
- Inspect welded joints and structures to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
- Providing support to lead installers by performing tasks such as drilling, cutting, fastening, and assembling components according to project requirements.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects within deadlines.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a welder, preferably in a manufacturing, construction, or fabrication environment.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG) and the ability to work with different materials (e.g., steel, aluminum).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work in various positions and environments (e.g., standing, bending, confined spaces).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues with welding equipment.
- Commitment to safety and adherence to safety guidelines and procedures.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Working Conditions:
- This is a full-time position that may require working in various environments, including workshops, manufacturing plants, construction sites, or outdoor locations.
- Occasional overtime or weekend work may be necessary to meet project deadlines or production schedules.
