Form of workTrade qualified metal fabricators to work on heavy machinery and mining equipment. OEM Experience preferred.
Our clients, mining support services and engineering companies based in Dubbo and Mudgee, NSW Orana Region is looking for full time permanent trade qualified Welders & Metal Fabricators to work at the company workshop and in field service.The successful applicants must have:
- Structural steel fabrication experience.
- Experience in fabricating material handling equipment within the coal industry.
- Experience in technical drawing interpretation.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the industry.
- A level of workmanship that exceeds the highest quality standards.
- Build up work internal and external using MIG, Sub Arc and Hot Spray.
- Fabrication from samples and engineered drawings.
- General duties including use of grinding, cutting (friction & gas cutting), welding (GMAW, TIG, Stick), polishing, cropping, pressing, heat treatment and stress relieving of steels.
- Ensure sufficient task analysis are completed to carry out work safely.
- Perform assigned duties in a timely and safe manner.
- Complete all Quality Assurance (QA) documentation throughout the job process.
- Adherence to all company procedures.
- Assist in the facilitation of a harmonious environment, working efficiently in the Fabrication team.
- Other duties as directed by Management, commensurate with classification and training.
- Will be responsible for the housekeeping and cleanliness of your. designated workplace and workshop.

- Current NSW Coal Board Order 43 Medical
- Working at Heights & Confined Space Qualifications
- Mine Site Inductions if required
