Due to sustained growth, we require a motivated & experienced Welding Specialist to join our expanding facilities in Mackay, QLD.

- Nightshift with 30% loading Mon-Thurs

Job tasks and responsibilities
The successful applicant will have the following skills :-
- Be experienced with ID welders & rotators (desirable not essential)
- Be experienced in mig welding (solid and fluxcore)
- Skilled in arc gouging
- Able to read and interpret drawings
- Have the ability to work unsupervised
- Have the ability to work in a team environment
- Basic fabrication skills
- A commitment to safety & quality
Skills and experience
The successful applicant will be required to perform the following tasks :-
- ID welding of Rod & Barrel eyes
- Manufacture of new cylinders, IE. welding new barrels & rod eyes
- Reclamation work of worn components
- Reclamation using welding positioners
- Pressure vessel welding
- Light fabrication
