Asset & Infrastructure Project Manager (Asset & Overlay Manager)

Council is seeking an experienced professional to oversee and maintain AELEC assets and project requirements whilst playing a pivotal role in delivering excellent events.

The Australian Equine & Livestock Centre (AELEC) is one of the most unique events complexes in Australia; attracting a diverse range of world class and national events.  It is a major contributor to the economic development and strength of our Region with opportunities to expand the commercial and tourism prospects of this incredible facility. 

The Asset & Overlay Manager is responsible for:

  • Liaising with customers to meet their needs;
  • Ensuring the facilities are in accordance with event requirements before, during and after events;
  • Developing and implementing operational procedures;
  • Ensure operating standards are implemented and maintained including safety, environmental and quality (technical);
  • Asset Management;
  • Project Management; and
  • Ensuring facility maintenance is consistently at a high standard.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED

  • Tertiary qualifications Project/Facility Management and/or Events or similar or equivalent relevant experience
  • Infrastructure and Overlay Management experience
  • Driver Licence
  • Working With Children Check (WWCC)

Salary range: Grade 16 $87,722.61 - $94,923.26 per annum plus 11% superannuation for a 38 hour work week. Salary may be negotiated based on skills, experience and your value to our organisation.

Flexible working arrangements will be considered by mutual agreement and according to operational requirements.
