The Role

The Unit Manager is responsible for the strategic management and protection of all Council-owned assets to ensure they are maintained and preserved in accordance with the community's expectations and corporate and legislative requirements. The Unit Manager is responsible for the leadership and coordination of regular inspections of construction sites and various works to ensure compliance with a range of Acts and Legislations. The position is to support the team in following procedural fairness in gathering evidence and in determining appropriate corrective action including enforcement.
