The Role:We are seeking a Wholesale Account Manager to lead our established brand's sales efforts within the porcelain and ceramic tile market. This role primarily involves outbound sales and account management, supported by our dedicated team based in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:- Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with existing customers to meet sales targets.
- Identify and engage with prospective customers aligned with our product offerings.
- Maintain accurate records utilizing CRM tools to facilitate performance reporting.
- Provide comprehensive support to customers to optimize sell-through, including providing product samples and facilitating point-of-sale displays.
- Oversee an office-based inside sales/administrative support personnel responsible for order processing and freight coordination.
- Monitor sales and account metrics, including outstanding accounts and gross profit percentages.
- Contribute insights into product range development based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Identify new wholesale sales opportunities beyond current market segments.
- Collaborate on the development of sales and marketing collateral tailored to customer engagement.
- Provide input on sales systems and processes to enhance customer satisfaction and sales performance.
- Demonstrable product knowledge of the tile product category.
- Prior experience in sales or trade within the tile or building supply sector preferred.
- Bonus points for experience working with or within retail environments/customers. Our current wholesale customers are independent retail tile stores.
- Proficiency in utilizing sales tools and systems such as CRM, outbound email, and lead generation platforms.
- Familiarity with sales performance metrics and a results-oriented mindset.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings (driver's license required); this role is client-facing and primarily involves outbound sales activities.

- Competitive Base Salary (Experience based range $80,000 - $90,000 + Super)
