Position Overview:

We’re seeking a reliable, organised, and self-motivated individual. We are looking for a merchandising and Delivery Assistant to join our tight knit team supplying flowers to Tasmania.
We are a family owned and operated business. Over the past 25 years Just Flowers has become the leading flower wholesaler supplier of Tasmania. We are known for our large range of quality fresh and preserved flowers and exceptional customer service.
This position involves working independently, merchandising pre-wrapped flowers to local businesses. The daily tasks include: making sale calls, invoicing, receiving stock and unpacking, flower prepping duties, wrapping flowers, labelling, picking and packing orders, delivering buckets of flowers into stores throughout the Hobart area and general housekeeping duties.
Hours of work: This position is offered as a casual or part-time employee. Working 3 days a week. Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
It's important to note that this is not a florist position. While no prior flower knowledge is required, being a people person is a must. If you thrive in a fast-paced work environment and hold a driver's license, we'd love to hear from you!
In this part-time or casual role, your responsibilities will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
- Sales & Merchandising
- Stock display
- Processing incoming freight arrivals
- Receiving stock and unpacking
- Flower prepping duties
- Wrapping flowers
- Labelling products
- Invoicing
- Picking and packing, fulfil and check orders incoming and outgoing
- Making deliveries into stores
- Housekeeping duties to maintain a high WHS standard.
- Other duties as directed.
