About the Role
SEE Group have a great opportunity available for an experienced Administrator with a passion for workplace health and safety to join our Infrastructure division on a significant civil/mining project based in Orange, NSW. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday.
We are seeking a WHS Administrator with a background in Civil Construction who can assist in leading the safety requirements of the project with the project team. We are looking for candidates who are self-motivated, well organised, able to work autonomously and are striving to achieve Safety Differently.
Responsibilities
- Assist in compiling data for weekly & monthly reports
- Assist with Injury Management, Hazard Assessment monitoring and Return to Work programs
- Entering actions arising from incident investigations and safety inspections into CHESS
- Assist in organising documentation for incident investigations.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries related to health and safety information
- Coordinate training sessions by scheduling, tracking attendance, and preparing training materials
- Assist in maintaining training and induction records and certifications for employees
Essential Skills and Attributes
- Previous experience as a Project / Site Administrator working within a construction environment.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage conflicting priorities
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate with various stakeholders
- Be proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite and adept at learning new IT systems
- Be able to pass a pre-employment medical examination
