APG Workforce are currently seeking a WHS Administrator based in Griffith.
Please note although this role starts off with the agency you will be required for full time hours Monday to Friday.
The Role:
The primary responsibility is to support and assist in maintaining safe work systems across the site. We are looking for an Indvidual who has a keen eye for work, health and safety.
Shift time: 8AM – 4PM
Objectives of the Role
- Manage schedule of WHS activities to comply with requirements of Bsafe System under direction from WHS Coordinator.
- Perform Risk assessments according to the schedule.
- Prepare weekly reports and provide to WHSCO Record and Track all incident Reports,
- Manage and Close out, Investigate incidents or Hazard reports with assistance of WHS Coordinator and Officer.
- Perform WHS Activities and Checks in accordance with BSAFE System in liason with WHS Coordinator and Officer.
- Record and monitor items on the Sites Hazard Register.
- Any other items as directed by WHS Coordinator and Site Management.
- To ensure that all paperwork is correctly collected, recorded and filed
- Ensure accuracy of data is of a high degree & meets best practice.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a timely & orderly manner.
- Support all staff with assistance as & when required.
- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe manner to adhere to standards and systems.
- Legally permitted to work in Australia without limitations
- Competent in use of computer software, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word
- Excellent numerical skills
- Previous administration skills in keying data and preparing reports to strict deadlines.
- Experience of working in a team-based environment
- Ability to make quick and correct decisions “on the job”
- Ability to enter data into databases in a timely fashion
