Address RED APPOINTMENTS are looking for a seasoned WHS expert with at least a Cert IV in WHS and prior involvement in Power stations, Oil & Gas, or Construction. This is an incredible chance to guide, inspire, and offer counsel to our client's team as they tackle routine maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and handle major outages.
We are in search of a Zero Harm Leader who can alternate between on-site and office work from Monday to Friday, and during significant outages, be present on-site around the clock (Mon-Sat), with LAFHA allowances provided.
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide and empower a team of Zero Harm Advisors throughout significant outages.
- Back operations to guarantee the rigorous implementation and adherence to zero harm protocols by site, project personnel, and subcontractors
- Organize and deliver safety inductions and toolbox talks
- Perform ICAM and incident investigations
- Carry out safety inspections and audits
- Fulfill WHS reporting responsibilities
- Cert IV in WHS as a minimum
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Previous experience working in Power stations is desirable
- Previous recent experience with shutdown construction/ mining projects
- Cert IV Trainer & Assessor certificate is desirable
- ICAM investigation skills and competency a minimum
- An understanding and a working knowledge of WHS practices and current legislation
