About the Role:
Maxima is searching for an experienced Work Health Safety Advisor for a valued client based in the Eastern outskirts of the CBD. This is a temporary role for 3 months, full time preferred however part time will be considered for the right candidate. Offering competitive remuneration, the ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator and able to work with and guide staff and leaders.
Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Undertake risk assessments (task, plant, chemical etc)
- Assist with incidents and corrective actions
- Provide general advice and support
In order to be successful in this role, you must meet the following criteria:
- Previous WHS experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- Ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
- Relevant qualifications
- Ability to exercise initiative and judgement and in particular handle confidential and sensitive matters appropriately.
